THINK SQUARE INVITATIONAL is an annual event showcasing the work of 50+ local artists from the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. 

The show first opened in 2018 at design agency The Think Shop in Newport, Kentucky when agency owner David Dalton invited Andrea Knarr and Joline Hartig to coordinate an art show. The fit was natural as David has a history of show curating and gallery ownership. The Think Shop studio office was even designed gallery-style to display art.

Think Square began as a printmaking show which soon expanded to include sculptors, book artists, painters, photographers, ceramicists, graphic designers and mixed media artists. When COVID hit, Kate Staiger invited us to show at her larger space: the Cincinnati Learning Collaborative in Walnut Hills.This year marks our return to THE THINK SHOP with over 50 artists exhibiting.

Artists can create any work in their chosen medium as long as it is five inches square and mounted on a white mat in the same 12x12” size.
